Wampsville, NY – Madison County is excited to announce that there are 54 local restaurants participating in the Fall 2021 Madison Local Eats program.
“Thank you to all of our restaurants who have signed up to participate in the next round of Madison Local Eats,” said Madison County Board Chairman, John M. Becker. “We are glad to see some restaurants who participated the first time, back for the second program, and a few new names.”
“The holidays are right around the corner, and it is never too early to start checking people off your present list. A gift card for a good meal is always a great gift idea. Madison Local Eats is the perfect way to save yourself money and help our local businesses to get back on their feet.”
“Madison Local Eats” is a program from Buy Madison County. The way the program works is customers, beginning October 13, 2021, at 4:00 PM, can go to www.madisonlocaleats.com to claim vouchers for either $20, $50, or $100 gift cards to a participating restaurant. The voucher is sent by email once claimed. To redeem the voucher, bring either a printed or a virtual copy of the email to the restaurant, between October 21 and November 14, 2021. Then pay half of the full amount of the voucher to the restaurant (example: for a $50 voucher, the customer pays $25) and receive from the restaurant a gift card for the full amount of the voucher (example: $50 gift card). Madison County reimburses the other half of the gift card cost to the restaurant.
The Madison County reimbursement comes from the $13.7 million the County received as part of the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
